Dezember in der Dortmunder U statt. Es geht um historische und zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst aus Ghana. <meta charset=\"utf-8\">Konzipiert wurde die Ausstellung von der Kunsthistorikerin, Autorin und Filmemacherin Nana Oforiatta Ayim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eEFIE\u201c bedeutet in den Akan-Sprachen \u201eZuhause\u201c oder \u201eHeim\u201c. Die Ausstellung stellt die Frage, wie ein Museum zu einem passenden Zuhause f\u00fcr die gezeigten Kunstwerke werden kann. Kunstwerke werden aus ihrem Kontext gerissen und in museale Sammlungen der westlichen Welt gesteckt und vereinsamen dort. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Dortmunder U sind Videoarbeiten sowie multimediale Installationen von Afroscope, Diego Ara\u00faja, Rita Mawuena Benissan, Kwasi Darko, Kuukua Eshun, Na Chainkua Reindorf, Studio Nyali sowie El Anatsui. Diese Arbeiten zeitgen\u00f6ssischer K\u00fcnstler und K\u00fcnstlerinnen werden in Verbindung gebracht mit historischen Artefakten, Leihgaben aus deutschen Museen. Die Ausstellung erweitert das traditionelle Verst\u00e4ndnis von \u201eMuseum\u201c, hinterfragt althergebrachte Pr\u00e4sentationsformen und bietet neue Perspektiven \u2013 auf die Kunst, aber auch auf die Realit\u00e4t, der sie entstammen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><meta charset=\"utf-8\">Nana Oforiatta Ayim ist Kuratorin des gefeierten ghanaischen Pavillons auf der Biennale in Venedig 2019 sowie Gr\u00fcnderin und Direktorin des ANO Institute of Arts &amp; Knowledge.
