Das Domstift Brandenburg will die mittelalterliche judenfeindliche Schm\u00e4hplastik im Kreuzgang des Stifts erforschen lassen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die als „Judensau“ bekannte Skulptur gilt als die \u00e4lteste \u00fcberlieferte derartige Darstellung und stammt vermutlich aus dem 13. Jahrhundert. Das Domstift will nun gemeinsam mit der Evangelischen Kirche Berlin-Brandenburg-schlesische Oberlausitz Quellen sichten, einordnen und analysieren. So soll die Skulptur in Zukunft in einem kommentierten Kontext pr\u00e4sentiert werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c4hnliche Figuren gibt es in mehreren deutschen Kirchen. \u00dcber den Umgang mit ihnen gibt es immer wieder Streit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
