In einem der APA vorliegenden Statement zeigten sich Wiener Philharmoniker best\u00fcrzt \u00fcber die Nachricht: &#8222;Das RSO stellt f\u00fcr \u00d6sterreich und auch weit \u00fcber die Grenzen des Landes hinaus ein unersetzbares und wichtiges Kulturgut dar, das das Musikleben weltweit seit seinen Anf\u00e4ngen ma\u00dfgeblich gepr\u00e4gt hat. Ein einzigartiger Schwerpunkt unserer Musikerkolleg*innen vom RSO ist vor allem auch die Hinwendung zu Neuer Musik, wie kaum ein anderes \u00f6sterreichisches Orchester hat es soviel zeitgen\u00f6ssische Musik aufgef\u00fchrt. Das Fehlen des RSO in der vielf\u00e4ltigen Musiklandschaft \u00d6sterreichs w\u00fcrde eine gro\u00dfe L\u00fccke aufrei\u00dfen. Wir appellieren daher an die Kulturpolitik unseres Landes, alles daran zu setzen, die kulturelle Vielfalt zu f\u00f6rdern und all jene Institutionen zu erhalten, die zur Identit\u00e4t unseres Kulturlandes ma\u00dfgeblich beitragen.
